This is the story of mankind’s attempt to bring back a horse from the dead.  For millennia, the Tarpan ran through the dreams of our ancient ancestors and onto prehistoric cave walls.  Tragically in 1879, Europe’s last wild horse ran off a cliff attempting to avoid capture.  Illuminating the dark and often chilling historic efforts to re-engineer the horse, the film follows a small herd of modern Tarpan struggling to become wild once again, bravely learning the way back to their ancient selves.
